We can combine static and variable elements into a single print file before any printing occurs. The printer follows the file and prints every page with both static and variable elements. The second method is to print all the static graphics first and then run those elements through the printer a second time, printing the variable content. This method works well for textual content but can be difficult to incorporate graphical elements.
