Extended Content Labels (ECL) & Other Peelable Labels

Piggyback labels

A label that goes on another label
Can be either nested labels, where the top label and bottom label are different in size or flush cut labels, where both layers have the same dimensions
Can be used for inventory and asset tracking, by removing and storing labels at steps along the way or in conjunction with barcodes and scanning devices
Can also be used to pair patient charts with medication vials or bottles

Stick and lift labels

Labels that have a base label designed for permanent attachment and one designed to take away with ease.

Dry peel labels

Consist of two equally sized labels that are place on top of each other – a type of duo-label that is not resealable.
